Assassin’s Creed III 3D support confirmed

With the game now released, we can talk about it and from looking around the web there has been some uncertainty about 3D support in the latest Assassin’s Creed. We can confirm that Ubisoft are sticking to supporting 3D with their releases and that Assassin’s Creed III 3D support is featured in the Xbox and PS3 versions of the game much like their other big release this year, Ghost Recon Future Soldier.

Gamers with 3D TV sets or monitors will be able to enjoy the rich world of Assassin’s Creed III in much the same way as its predecessor, although as with most console games running in 3D, expect some loss of quality in the graphics.

Assassin’s Creed III also releases on the upcoming Wii U and it will be interesting if this version includes 3D and whether the Wii U will provide a better resolution than Xbox and PS3.

Assassin’s Creed III releases worldwide tomorrow in Europe and today in North America.
