Wanted: Dead VR is Amazing (UEVR Mod from PrayDog)

We put Solei’s action game into VR using Praydog’s UEVR mod for a really neat third-person Wanted: Dead VR game. What’s great is that it just works with no tweaking required, other than perhaps renaming the OpenVR folder if it fails to inject. The experience is great as a gamepad, third-person action game. Due to the nature of the gameplay, you need to be able to see enemies who sneak up behind you, so the third-person view is perfect for this.

Wanted: Dead is a new hybrid slasher/shooter from Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive authors. The game follows a week in the life of the Zombie Unit, an elite Hong Kong police squad on a mission to uncover a major corporate conspiracy.

Play as Lt. Hannah Stone, a hardboiled Hong Kong cop, and plow through mercenaries, gang members, and private military contractors in a spectacular cyberpunk adventure.

The game is best experienced with a controller for fluid combos and intuitive combat.

  • Hack-n-slash melee combat: Unleash a wide array of deadly moves and unique finishers to slice and dice.
  • Third-person shooter: Engage in intense battles using a handpicked assortment of projectile weapons, including assault rifles, SMGs, LMGs, and grenade launchers.
  • Brutal finishers: Over 50 unique finishing moves.
  • Cyberpunk setting: Experience a wild fusion of high-tech weaponry and retro 90s futurism.
  • Gripping storyline: Join the Zombie Unit as they unravel a massive corporate conspiracy in a dystopian version of Hong Kong.
  • Truly hardcore experience: The fights will be challenging. Steel your resolve and use everything around you as you battle through hordes of mercenaries, synthetics, and private security forces.
  • Old school beat ’em up: Take down enemies to progress further and revive the nostalgia in a modern twist on the established genre.
  • A love letter to the sixth generation of consoles.
