We recently got our hands on the preview version of Resident Evil 6 and after playing the initial Dragon’s Dogma demo as well noticed there was quite a bit of screen tearing. We can now confirm through first hand experience with the Xbox 360 full retail version that Capcom have pretty much eliminated the screen tearing issues from the final build. Hopefully the other versions will also be fixed as well.
October 2nd just got better, as screen tearing – whilst perhaps not game breaking – is one of those niggly gaming annoyances we’d rather not see.
