Sam Fisher and Solid Snake both have their fanbases but it’s interesting to see that Ubisoft pay homage to the retired Solid Snake character in their Ghost Recon Wildlands Operation Watchman mission. Take a look at the video and skip to the 18 minutes 21 seconds section to hear Sam and Bowman reference the character. Interestingly, the old Micheal Ironside voiced Sam Fisher was replaced in Splinter Cell Blacklist (the most recent game in the series), but hopefully he’s brought back in if Ubisoft decide to release a new Splinter Cell game. There’s something fitting about old Sam and Ironside’s gravelly delivery.
