We take a look at Turn 10’s racing game in a definitive manner comparing the Xbox 360 Forza Motorsport 4 running through the Xbox One with the more recent and now current generation Forza Motorsport 5. We’ve opted to use the same Subaru WRX 2011 car and placed them both in a stationary position at the same location on the track in the Bernise Alps.  Take a look at the Forza 5 vs Forza 4 through Xbox One video and spot the differences. It’s worth noting that due to compression via Youtube, the quality is diminished quite considerably, so it’s advisable to view the video at 1080p for the best results.

In our view looking at the raw footage, it’s clear that Forza 5 comes out on top with a generally sharper image and much more detail track side. Further differences are noted when the game is actually running where Forza 5 boasts much better looking lighting effects.
