Some of the more dedicated fighting gamers will no doubt spend considerable time looking at frame data and move exploits which get reported to developers pre-release. They are often invited to test the games before they enter the wilds, but some do slip through the proverbial net.
In this instance, an infinite combo has been discovered as proven by the following video.
Obviously in an arcade or tournament environment, anyone using such method would be ridiculed and probably disqualified, but when it comes to online play where there’s relative safety from being decked by a real punch, it’s fair game…kind of.
Some would argue, the skill comes from avoiding the precise situation for the exploit to be used, but for the uninitiated it can be seen as a royal pain. Should gamers be reported and penalised for using such exploits, or is it fair play for them being able to pull them off in live situations? Either way, it is rather cheap but if it’s in the game then it’s only natural some people will make use of it.
