Since becoming an independent developer after many years working on the Halo series, Bungie has revealed some snippets of info regarding their new project ‘Destiny’ which will release on Xbox 360 next year (and PS3 later) under the wings of Activision.
According to a blog post, they revealed that they have enlisted ex-Rockstar and Red Dead Development developer, Danny Bulla.
“We liked Red Dead Redemption so much that we hired Danny Bulla to come here and help us fill your next sandbox. He’s doing some amazing work and, so far, he hasn’t tried to lash any of us to a pair of railroad tracks.”
They also mentioned some aspects of the sound design where apparently Destiny’s world will be quite a noisy place.
“The events depicted in our next game happen in a noisy place, and we’ll need entire orchestra of artists to provide the sounds you’ll hear when you play.”
The enlistment of Bulla has given rise to speculation that the game could be an open world ‘Sandbox’ style game.
