Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry standalone game announced

Ubisoft has just announced that its recent DLC single player campaign for Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag entitled Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry will be available as a standalone download package for the PC, and PS4. The original game will not be required to take advantage of the DLC which launches on PS4 on Feb 19th and then on the 25th for PC.  Take a look at the announcement trailer for more details.
