According to report, Capcom has claimed an impressive start to their Resident Evil campaign with some 4.5 million units shipped to retailers. This is compared to the massive 4.4 million of its predecessor.
What has to be taken into consideration though, is that these are shipped numbers as opposed to actual sales. It’s likely the sales will be good, as Capcom are expecting some 7 million units sold for the year ending March 31st. What will be interesting is whether the negative reviews will have any impact on sales. So far it’s looking good for Capcom.
