The Last of Us combat hard difficulty gameplay – how will you play?

As a core gamer do you start your games on Hard rather than Normal (which is reserved for casuals) or leave the hard stuff once you’re familiar with the game – as almost something more to look forward to once the game has been beaten already. It seems nowadays, Normal is the new Easy and Hard is the new Normal, if that makes sense. Take a look at The Last of Us demo being played on the Hard setting and see if  this is how you’ll start your adventure in a few weeks time.

The Last Of Us tells the story of Joel, a survivor of the savage cordyceps virus infection which has plunged the USA into a chillingly-authentic post-apocalyptic hell. He embarks on a cross-America trip with a precious cargo, Ellie, leaving the relative safety of the quarantine zone where they will encounter fierce mutated husks and crazed survivors. From the award-winning team behind Uncharted, Crash Bandicoot and Jak and Daxter, The Last Of Us delivers a gritty, cinematic experience interspersed with genuine survival-action to deliver a compelling and unique gaming experience. In addition, The Last Of Us will feature a brand new online multiplayer, featuring XP-levelling and in-game currency to purchase upgrades and weapons.

The Last Of Us, hits retail stores in the UK from Friday 14th June 2013.
