With just 48 hours and counting to go, Oculus has today announced that the Oculus Rift pre-orders will begin from 8am Pacific time January 6th 2016 (that’s 16:00 GMT). Gamers and tech heads alike should be reminded that every Rift will come with an Xbox One controller alongside Eve Valkyrie and Lucky’s Tale video games. Some might be wondering if the pre-orders are for the North American region only. Well Lucky Palmer just tweeted the following:

“Pre-orders will be global, not US only – We have the required certification in 20 countries, more will follow.”
