Lies of P reminds us of Bloodborne and that’s a good thing

During the Summer Games Fest 2023 yesterday, it was announced that a playable demo of NEOWIZ’s Lies of P was available to try. Immediately we downloaded the 23GB demo on PC and played in 4K max settings. You can see our rapier gameplay below. The game does look rather fantastic ands as a souls-like experience plays very well, albeit a little slow-paced. Interestingly though, the game sports a more mechanical flavour but the aesthetic does remind us of Bloodborne which released on PS4 in 2015. After playing the demo our expectations are high, and if the rest of the game is as intriguing as the demo, then we are all in for a treat. There have been a few souls-like games that have not quite hit the same mark as the games they draw inspiration from. Hopefully Lies of P can accomplish that. The game releases on September 19th on consoles and PC.
