Ryse Son of Rome has been described by some to be about as interesting as pushing buttons on a telephone, but that still doesn’t detract from the gratuitous scenes of violence and sense of power when unleashing the game’s executions on the ragged barbarian thugs that come at you from all sides. It’s a thrilling game when the difficulty is set to Legendary, and becomes an exercise in more methodical tapping of those phone buttons. We’ve struggled to reach an authoritative 100 hit combo, but after several attempts and a calm spirit managed to achieve the seemingly impossible in the face of cheating AI, dodgy camera angles and locked in animations.  Take a look at the video which shows off an impressive 162 hit combo. #rysesonofrome
