Sony released an official GTA V PS4 vs PS3 comparison video which clearly shows off the number of improvements made to the visuals and atmosphere of the game which releases on November 18th 2014. The video highlights improved textures, better lighting and more props to populate the world making for a richer looking game. However, alongside some gameplay additions such as an all new first person mode, the question remains whether gamers who already played the last gen version are going to jump in all over again. GTA V also releases on Xbox One with a PC release in 2015.
