We wanted to compare the old Xbox 360 version of Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 which released way back in November 2006 with the most recent Dead Or Alive Xtreme 3 on PS4 to show how far the characters have come and how different the core gameplay is – which frankly isn’t that much actually. However, the ladies overall quality in terms of looks and animations is far superior as you’d expect, and those small details really make them a joy to behold. Xtreme 3 almost feels like a remaster rather than a new game though but if you go in with the expectation that this is more of the same then you’ll find an enjoyable selection of mini games and moments to appreciate your favourite characters outside of their usual fighting zone.
