Cyberpunk 2077 Metro Mod Gameplay 4K (with Instructions) – Will this be added to consoles?

Here we take a look at the Cyberpunk 2077 metro mod from the awesome modder keanuWheeze which allows V and companions to travel the Night City metro. Obviously this is only available for PC, but we wonder if CDPR will add this feature to the game when it releases for current gen consoles next year so that everyone can experience it. Most of the infrastructure is there, aside from perhaps moving assets so the car doesn’t clip through solid objects. In addition, as far as the story is concerned, they could disable the entire metro system until players reach the main act when the game world opens proper. This would prevent players disembarking into an area they shouldn’t before the story allows.

If you cast you memories back to the 2018 E3 reveal trailer which shows V in a metro cart, perhaps CDPR will add this fully fledged system? Either way, this is an impressive mod and a neat showcase for looking at Night City from above in all its glory.

Instructions (specific install instructions can be found for each mod).

These mods need to be installed/extracted into your CP 2077 game directory. If the file names already exist then these will add to existing folders without issue.

Example install/extraction pathC:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077

You will first need to install Cyber Engine Tweaks. Once done, run it first and set your hotkeys to open the menu when in-game. You are asked this the first time you run the game with it installed correctly.

For Cyber Engine Tweaks (CET) to work, set the game to borderless windowed and disable things like monitoring software such as Rivatuner, Xbox Game Bar, MSI Afterburner, steam etc.

Once Cyber Engine Tweaks is installed properly, you will need. Native Settings UI Mod. Extract the contents into the game folder.

Once that is installed then simply install/extract the Metro mod into the game directory folder and you’re ready to go the next time you launch the game.

It seems some people are 2 dimensional when it comes to developers updating their own software. They are at liberty to do what they please on consoles and PC and can update easily via DLC. Whilst this is a mod for PC, I see no reason why CDPR can’t use it or develop their own version as I mentioned, the infrastructure is already there. Some of you have suggested CDPR hire the modder to get this added to their game. That is one option I suppose. I believe as recently stated by CDPR, lots of stuff was cut from the game due to time constraints and last gen hardware. Perhaps they already have a version of this in the works. Let’s hope so, because it’s pretty cool.
