Rainbow Six Siege Blowing Up the House Video – Impressive Physics Can’t be Denied

You might level enough criticisms at Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Siege for whatever reasons thanks to the currently running Beta, such as long wait times to get into the game, low texture details and lack of single player AI (amongst other things) but it has to be said the game’s physics engine is impressive indeed. We spent half an hour or so in Lone Wolf mode placing charges around the ground floor of the house map to see how much destruction we could cause and posted our results in our Rainbow Six Siege Blowing Up the House video. As you can see, there’s quite a contrast between the house pre-explosions and after, and what’s mightily impressive is how most assets are physics based when shot making for a fully interactive environment. Also the debris that’s left behind is pretty neat making for one of the most impressive destruction physics we’ve seen in a video game.
