£463 Gets you the complete Playstation VR Set Up

Amazon UK has opened up its pre-orders for the Playstation VR device and what you might not realize is to get the full experience you will need to get the Playstation 4 Camera and two Move controllers separately which bumps the price up to £463 (the HMD costs £349). Obviously you will need a PS4 as well to play it so if you’ve not got one of those then a further £280 is required bumping up the complete cost to £743. Obviously this is far cheaper than the PC requirements for the Rift or Vive but it’s assumed most people jumping in will already own the PS4. Then there’s the cost of the software which will vary depending on the title. VR is generally considered expensive in its fledgling moments so perhaps it will be prudent to hold off until the pricing comes down – although you could be waiting a while.
