Microsoft has just announced that the Xbox One has sold in excess of 2 million units in 18 days since it launched on November 22nd 2013 in 13 different countries worldwide. This averages out to a rather dubious 111,111 units sold per day according to the official press release from Microsoft. Perhaps this is why Microsoft delayed posting figures until this 2 million milestone was reached so that it could present this figure which is in tune with the Xbox One branding right down to the letter. Either way, these are impressive sales given the fact that Sony’s PS4 is also available and at a lower entry price. Good news all round it seems.
