LOW-FI Demo Coming SOON

We have been covering LOW-FI. for a number of years now when it first arrived on Kickstarter. Over the last year or so, development has been extremely slow. But today, Iris VR posted on the Kickstarter an update. Having now merged with Titan1Studios who has offered some financial incentives to finish the project. There’s also a slew of other projects, being worked on. But the biggest news is that they’re planning for a LOW-FI demo in the next couple of months around August. The demo will be a vertical slice of the game, focusing more on the flat screen version and allowing you to explore some of the club district area. A demo would be great for potential sales. Read Below for the full details.

PARTNERSHIP WITH TITAN1STUDIOS

Last time we spoke we we’re looking for partnership and funding opportunities to get LOW-FI out the door and into your soul. Those prayers were almost immediately answered in connecting with TITAN1STUDIOS, a fellow Canada based, cross media developer and publisher. Check them(us?) out here: TITAN1STUDIOS

LOW-FI PUBLIC DEMO

We’re working closely with the amazing team at TITAN1STUDIOS to bring a Public Demo of LOW-FI to Steam, this Summer (likely early to mid August). The demo will be vertical slice of gameplay centering around the club district and the Precinct 303 where you’ll be able to choose and recruit a number of companions, tour the local establishments, meet the locals, and likely encounter deep conspiracies, corruption and a few fun surprises. The game is of course still VR FIRST with all of the considerations that entails, but we are shifting focus slightly for this demo to ensure the game is up to the standards of the Desktop PC and Console markets. This focus shift is imperative to ensure the success of the game in the current -let’s say downturn?- in the high-end VR space. The hope is that the demo will bring some attention from the wider gaming community and allow us to get the funding we need to crush all the things.

BEFOR READING ON, I want to ensure you, dear reader and/or backer, that LOW-FI is my top priority and that everything listed below is in service of making LOW-FI is the best that it can be, and that your love and support is deeply appreciated, and will be rewarded.

Thank you again for you patience and understanding <3
