Great news for VR as Mark Zuckerberg announced today that META will make its Quest OS open to third-party hardware manufacturers. This includes the likes of Microsoft, Lenovo, ASUS, who may in the future release their own Meta Horizon OS powered headsets. This is a smart move from META but raises so many questions. For example, will developers be able to use their own store-fronts?
