The Division GTX 1080 vs GTX 980 Ti Benchmark Videos (1080p & 4K)

Nvidia released its impressive GTX 1080 yesterday to the wider audience and we put the graphics card through its paces with Ubisoft’s built in The Division benchmark tool using the Ultra preset at 1080p and 4K. We’re running the game on the same PC as our earlier benchmark with the GTX 980 Ti using the exact same settings. So the question remains, is the much touted 30% performance increase plain to see in a real world setting. Our first video shows the GTX 1080 which finishes the test with a 97.2 average frame rate. The second the GTX 980 Ti which has a 73.5 average frame rate. Doing the maths and that seems to fall in line with the expected 30% gain.
