Deus Ex Mankind Divided Console Vs PC Video

Square Enix released its eagerly anticipated Deus Ex Mankind Divided on consoles and PC yesterday but how do the versions compare in terms of visuals. We know the PC version can be quite the resource hog but how well optimized are the console versions? Take a look at our Deus Ex Mankind Divided Console Vs PC video which puts the Xbox One version against the PC running at 1080p Ultra settings (with MSAA x2 enabled). At a first glance it’s perhaps easy to suggest the Xbox One version holds up well but the reality is it’s locked at 30 fps and is being upscaled from 900p to 1080p. The video has to be viewed in full-screen to make out the details but it’s clear there’s a massive lack of anti-aliasing on the Xbox One version and the texture details of the PC are much more defined. That said, it’s the boost up to 2K or 4K that really sets the versions apart although the visual gap might lessen next year when an updated PS4 or Xbox One Project Scorpio releases.
