Amazing Lara Croft Animations Will Leave You Drooling for ROTTR

Square Enix/Crystal Dynamics’ Rise of the Tomb Raider is an excellent addition to the Xbox line-up for 2015 although it has been suggested, somewhat overshadowed by Fallout 4 which released at the same time. They are different games though and anyone up for some action adventuring would do well to check out the game as it’s pretty spectacular. We scored it an impressive 9/10 in our review despite not feeling some of the story elements or design choices of the main character Lara Croft. Microsoft secured the rights to the game for this year to bolster its holiday season line-up on Xbox 360 and Xbox One but Crystal Dynamics will be releasing the game on PC in spring 2016 and then later on in the year on the PS4. Whether these versions will be any different is anyone’s guess aside from a boost in frames per second on the PC being a given, but what will most likely remain are the character animations. Crystal Dynamics has created some excellent movement for the Lara Croft character which really sets the game apart from its peers. There’s an impressive attention to detail when Lara is swimming, running, jumping or merely being idle sporting some great facial expressions and movements. We’ve compiled just a selection of these in our latest amazing Lara Croft animations video which we think sell themselves and should make the wait just a little bit more bearable until PC and PS4 gamers can get their hands on the game in 2016. Meanwhile, Xbox players should really need no encouragement to pick this one up.
