Quantum Threshold - Wheelchair Based Cyberpunk Madness in VR - Oh My

What a unique concept to be placed in a wheelchair, like Davros - leader of the Daleks in the VR Quantum Threshold for Meta Quest and PCVR via Steam. You navigate a cyberpunk-themed city, shooting enemies while dual-wielding shotguns, pistols, and assault rifles, moving at a Robocop-like pace against synthetic foes. And it’s all in VR! It’s an exciting experience, and I really enjoyed playing it, as you might gather from the video. It’s a rogue-lite that’s incredibly fun once you adapt to the mechanics of being in a wheelchair, which limits your movement.

Some players have mentioned gaining a better appreciation of what it’s like to be in a wheelchair due to the restrictions. In a typical shooter, you can easily strafe left and right to dodge incoming fire, but when grounded in a wheelchair, you lose that flexibility, forcing you to adjust your tactics. This game captures that dynamic brilliantly, and it’s a blast to play. I highly recommend checking it out. If you have VR, there’s a Quest 3 version and a Steam VR version. The Steam VR version has better graphics, but both are essentially the same game.
