Witcher 3 Devs consider releasing Ultra Settings gameplay footage

Developers CD Projekt Red have come under the spotlight recently after releasing the system requirements for their forthcoming and slightly delayed The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt which arrives on consoles and PC in May. Eagle eyed viewers have spotted a visual downgrade when looking at trailers released last year and the latest imagery which is to be expected. However, to address the issue of the PC version being the most accomplished when it comes to the game’s visuals, Marcin Momot of CD Projekt Red hasn’t ruled out releasing exclusive PC footage that utilizes the game’s ultra setting and labelling it such to avoid any confusion. Speaking on the official forums when asked:

Before the game releases, are you going to put out gameplay footage – and not just cutscenes – on maxed out PCs on Ultra explicitly labelling it «PC footage on Ultra»?

He responded:

“Not sure but that’s a good idea and something we will definitely look into.”

This is encouraging, not only that CD are open to suggestion to allay the fears of PC users with high end systems but also the fact that we might see the game running at its most optimum settings prior to launch.
