Top End Graphics Card Beast vs GTA V at 4K Resolution

We put GTA V to the test by running the game quite comfortably in 4K using a reasonably priced (under £300) graphics card the R9 290x. The results allowed for fairly consistent 30 frames per second in most areas of the game. However, chasing a preferred 60 frames per second was simply way out of the the card’s league. So we decided to see how well one of the most powerful single slot GPUs on the planet would cope with the game at 4K resolution. The AMD R9 295×2 can be had for around £500 now and easily manages to play GTA V in 4K resolution maintaining a solid 60 frames per second. Take a look at the video to see how it fares.
