The Division PC Gameplay Looks Great But Is Very Demanding

Nvidia’s top end graphics card (GTX 980 Ti) manages to perform reasonably well running Ubisoft’s The Division Beta, but it’s not all plain sailing as you would expect although it’s a given the game will no doubt have some tweaks to improve the performance when the full release arrives. That said, there’s a ton of graphics options to tweak which is good news for all the various PC configurations out there. So, running the game using the Ultra preset option provides a steady performance overall but there are still some dips below 60 fps on occasion and with Vsync off the 980 Ti pushes way beyond this into the 70s as well. At Max settings it’s a different story which goes beyond the Ultra preset and introduces more details like Nvidia specific shadow effects. The game here sits between 40-55 FPS in outdoor areas. Take a look at our videos and you can see how well the game performs.
