After so many years playing video games it’s easy to be dismissive of video game grand entrances. We’ve seen them all from Solid Snake arriving on the tanker in Metal Gear Solid 2, to more recent offerings. Like the rather drawn-out opening of Red Dead Redemption 2. However, we were blown away by the Battlefield V intro for the War Stories. Not only mixing CGI footage with various scenes, but playable sections as well giving a slice of the action to come. With a rousing score, and an abundance of hard hitting sound effects, we think the concept and cinematic direction of this intro places it as one of the best.
