The deal has now closed and SONY has today officially welcomed developer BUNGIE [well known for the HALO series and more recent Destiny games] under their wings. That said, SONY has previously stated that BUNGIE will retain creative freedoms and still develop multi-platform titles. Considering the revenue raised for games like Destiny 2, this is rather obvious. However, if BUNGIE are given license to create new IPs and experience, then who knows what will happen. Perhaps, SONY will offer them extra funding for exclusive content/projects that are not tied to this acquisition.
