Samsung Gear VR Internet Browser Demo

Samsung has just released its rather neat Samsung Gear VR Internet Browser app which allows users of the Gear VR to voice search Internet pages and view them including media content such as Youtube videos. It’s a comfortable VR experience with tabs being viewable easily enough alongside added expected features such as bookmarking, zoom and hands free browsing (activated using a customizable gaze function). Whilst the app is currently in its Beta form, it works pretty well as you can see in our Samsung Gear VR Internet Browser demo video. It’s worth noting that we’re running the app using the Galaxy Note 4 which hasn’t been left in the dark this time, but any Samsung phone and Gear VR version from 2015 should be able to use it.
