Robinson The Journey Gameplay Video Playstation VR

Crytek’s Robinson The Journey looks like one of the better VR experiences as you play lone survivor in the jungles and swamps of a dinosaur filled planet after crash landing the spaceship Esmeralda. There’s options to tailor the controls to your liking so if you’ve the stomach you can have traditional FPS movements if that’s your calling (and in our opinion the best way to play) or snap rotation. Having now spent several hours in this wonderful world it’s a pretty engrossing experience even if some objectives are a little vague, but once you start the exploration outside of the camp you do feel a part of the game world. Take a look at the Robinson The Journey gameplay video which shows off the opening 40 minutes or so and introduces the basics. You can expect our full review in due course.
