Capcom has today revealed some more information about their forthcoming Resident Evil Revelations 2 and suggested it will feature weekly episodic content to be charged at $5.99 per episode or in a season pass for $24.99. A retail version containing all four episodes and extras will also be available for £39.99. Capcom hasn’t said what any of the extras will be at this stage but will divulge details in due course. To accompany the announcement, Capcom also released some information about the game, including the return of Claire Redfield and an unlikely alliance with Moira Burton, the daughter of Barry Burton who has yet to make an appearance in another Resident Evil game after only appearing in the original. Take a look at some of the first screenshots to get some perspective on this neat addition to the series. Resident Evil Revelations aims to release in 2015 on Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

The beginning of the Resident Evil Revelations 2 tale sees fan favorite Claire Redfield make a dramatic return to the horrors that haunted her in the past . Survivor of the Raccoon City incident depicted in previous Resident Evil games, Claire now works for the anti-bioterrorism organisation Terra Save. Moira Burton, new recruit and daughter of Resident Evil legend Barry Burton, is attending her welcome party for Terra Save when unknown armed forces storm the office.
