Chart-Track has today revealed that the PS4 which launched in the UK on Friday 29th, has become the fastest selling games console in the UK, beating previous title holder the Sony PSP which netted 185,000 units in its opening back in 2005. Sadly, Chart-Track are unable to reveal the actual raw data, but no doubt we’ll here an official announcement from Sony in due course. Retail partners have suggested that over 250,000 units were sold within 48 hours in the UK, compared to 150,000 of the Xbox One.
