Slightly Mad Studios are forever updating their Project CARS to make it an even better experience as time goes by. There’s been a recent update Patch 1.04 which improves the performance on the PS4 version and the arrival of some free content. Thrown into the mix for Xbox One,PS4 and PC is the Project CARS Racing Icons Car Pack which comes in at just £2.79 and includes five new high performance vehicles to race with. Players can sample the Bentley Speed 8, Continental GT3 alongside the Le Mans winning BMW V12 LMR, the McLaren F1 GTR and the souped-up Mercedes Benz CLK LM. Some of these also have a number of liveries and in the case of the CLK LM there’s even one of the community designs included. There’s already a healthy variety of cars available in Project CARS but overall the numbers are quite low when compared to other racing games, so new additions are always welcome. Whilst driving them is subjective and determined by player skill, all we can really say is the more the merrier. Yes these are optional extras which come with a premium, but Slightly Mad are giving the odd free car as well so it’s hard to really complain.
