Microsoft announced yesterday that it is closing its streaming service Mixer on July 22nd. It will now join forces with Facebook Gaming. Microsoft invested in getting some top steaming talent to move over to its platform but obviously this wasn’t enough to bring in the numbers. Twitch seems to be the most well-know streaming platform alongside the likes of Youtube which also offers its members streaming options.
