Microsoft has just announced that it has secured the Gears of War Franchise from Epic Games and announced that Black Tusk Studios will be developing the next game in the series using Unreal Engine 4 on the Xbox One. What’s more, Rod Fergusson, former Director of Production at Epic Games on the “Gears of War” franchise, will join Black Tusk under the wing of Microsoft and will continue to play a key role in the game’s development. We can expect to hear more news about this development later this year.
