Microsoft poised for Fable 4 announcement sets Fable 3 free

Microsoft are later today hosting their press conference and it’s likely amongst other things that Lionhead will officially announce Fable 4. What’s been interesting this week is the release of details for Fable Anniversary, and now it seems an offer of Fable 3 for Xbox Live Gold Subscribers free of charge is available from the Live Marketplace. If this is in indeed a carefully calculated plan rather than a genuine glitch in the system, then this will have certainly peaked interest in the series – ahead of tonight’s possible announcement of Fable 4.

Fable 2 released in 5 episodes where the first was available for free, could this be something similar?
