Metro Redux claims first place in UK software sales chart

Charttrak has just released its figures for last week’s all formats UK software sales chart which puts Deep Silver’s/4A Studios’ Metro Redux at number one leaving last week’s leader Diablo III at number 2 and Sony’s The Last of Us at number 3. Other big moves and perhaps spelling the demise of FIFA 14 in light of the imminent release of its successor has the footballing giant see another slip from last week’s 12th to 18th place.  With some big releases on the horizon it will be interesting to see if Metro can cling on to its position for a second week or whether another title will take the crown, most notably EA’s The Sims 4 which hits stores globally this week.
