Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes PC Performance – locked 60 fps

The PC version of Kojima Productions’ Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes looks like the definitive edition which is to be expected. We ran the game using an i5 3570K CPu, 8GB Ram and a GTX 970 GPU and found the stable 60 frames per second performance to be most agreeable. The open world game isn’t pushing our hardware which means there’s scope for those with lower end systems to still play. Take a look at our Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes PC Performance video which shows off the locked 60 frames per second and how much strain there was on our GPU (indicated by temperature and fan speed). The mission is set within the daytime giving a clear look at the higher res textures, DOF and improved shadow effects. The full game ‘The Phantom Pain’ releases in 2015 on consoles and PC although no specific date is available at present.
