Activision has halted funding projects for Goldeneye developer Eurocom as of today the remaining staff are laid off and the company ceased trading according to reports from Eurogamer. Eurocom in recent years revitalized the N64 classic Goldeneye on the Wii, then subsequently brought the game to Xbox and PS3. The more recent and terribly received 007 Legends can’t have helped the company’s position and so today we say goodbye, and hope the 200 odd staff will find positions elsewhere in the industry.
