Ubisoft has released its Ghost Recon Wildlands special event challenge as part of its yearly update. Previously we battled the Predator but this time Splinter Cell protagonist Sam Fisher is in need of assistance. Take a look at our Ghost Recon Wildlands Splinter Cell mission playthrough to get an idea of what to expect. If we’re being critical, it’s not as fleshed out as the Predator battle and sadly, you can’t play as Sam. The mission itself relies on no kills stealth which whilst sounding neat is a little dull. It would have been nice to simply have the option to kill and not be detected without using AI sync shot team kills – a challenge in itself considering how dead bodies cannot be moved. Either way, as a piece of free content and hopefully a sign that Ubisoft will announce a new Splinter Cell game this year (hopefully with the return of Micheal Ironside’s voice as seen here) this is all good and worth checking out even if it’s rather brief.
