Gears of War Ultimate Edition makes its presence felt on PC with the option to boost up the resolution to 4K above its 1080p console counterpart. Whilst the game struggles to hit 60 frames per second using our GTX 980 Ti (unless you drop it down to 2K) it does look fantastic. What’s interesting and exciting at the same time is the prospect of Gears of War 4 on PC as well now that Microsoft are committed to bringing its games to both Xbox and PC. If Gears of War 4 can rival or better then looks on offer here then visually we’re in for a treat because in some instances the gameplay graphics now look better than those pre-rendered cut-scenes.
