Yesterday we compared the rain detail in Playground Games’ Forza Horizon 2, Evolution Studios Driveclub and Slightly Mad Studios’ Project CARS, well today we’re pitting two racing giants against each other in our Forza MotorSport 5 vs Project CARS graphics comparison video which looks at various features of the games visuals. We look at the showroom detail, the environment, track texture detail and how the games compare when racing. It’s a tough call deciding which game is the better racer in terms of sheer driving pleasure but in terms of features Project CARS wins hands down with its many options such as tailored time of day and weather conditions. It also excels when it comes to numbers of opposing vehicles. Either way, both are great games but the extra time afforded to Slightly Mad Studios has meant they’ve created a far more robust game than Forza 5, until Forza 6 arrives at least. It will be interesting to see if Turn 10 adopt some of the elements featured in Project CARS.
