Forza Horizon 3 4K Gameplay Shows Excellent Detail

Playground Games released their rather cool open world racing game Forza Horizon 3 last week as one of Microsoft’s play anywhere games which means if you own the Xbox One version you get to play it on Windows 10 PC as well – keeping your save progress and achievements intact. Not only does playing on PC offer a wealth of options to tweak the settings to suit the hardware but allows for native 4K output which makes the game’s Australian setting come alive. Take a look at two video which presents Forza Horizon 3 4K gameplay at Ultra settings using a GTX 1080 and if you’re interested in how it fares keep an eye on the FPS counter on the top right of the screen. We have left FXAA on (which is perhaps unnecessary at 4K) and take note the high bit-rate recording using Shadowplay impacts the performance a little.
