DICE Provides a Smooth Star Wars Battlefront II 4K Experience

EA DICE/Motive Studios has done a pretty good job with the optimization of their upcoming Star Wars Battlefront II if the Beta is anything to go by. Having sampled each of the modes on offer on PC with the settings cranked up to Ultra (DX 11) at 4K resolution (that’s using a GTX 1080 Ti, i7 4790k cpu both at stock levels, 16 Gb RAM, Windows 10 64 Bit OS) the game maintains smooth gameplay throughout. Aside from looking rather pretty – although in fullscreen mode there seems to be an issue with the colour (which can be fixed playing windowed or borderless by the way) maintaining steady frames per second comes easy as you can see in our Star Wars Battlefront II 4K video.
