Destiny character creation options are pretty but limited

The Destiny Alpha has launched for many on PS4 and so we spent some time looking at the character creation options at the start of the experience. Players can choose from three classes,  Titan, Hunter and Warlock and then a further three races both male or female which include Human, the alien but human looking Awoken and the robotic Exo. One thing is clear, are the character model faces which are quite detailed and feature an assortment of combinations despite being a pretty basic set of tools compared to other games which grant full control over most features. Players can choose from a few face types, change skin tone, select a hair style, face paint and eye colour. That said, the choices on offer are appealing enough and look well set to tackle the dangerous worlds. In game when out in the field, the players automatically wear helmets, but interior safe zones allow the characters to be seen. Take a look at the Destiny character creation video which shows off the options available in the Alpha at least. More starting options could be added for the Beta and final game.
