Dead Or Alive Xtreme 3 No North American/Euro Release

A sad day for gamers expecting to play the rather titillating Dead Or Alive Xtreme 3 which is releasing in Japan at the end of February next year on the PS Vita and PS4. According to reports and Koei Tecmo’s Facebook page they commented on the game’s potential in western markets and specifically referenced the growing movement in the west of how females are presented in the medium. You can see the full quote below but understand the English is not perfect coming from a Japanese company.

Quote: “Do you know many issues happening in video game industry with regard to how to treat female in video game industry? We do not want to talk those things here. But certainly we have gone through in last year or two to come to our decision. Thank you.”

For our full opinion on the matter and to see what all the fuss is about take a look at the video. Should you feel hard done by and wish to import the game then check out sites such as Play-asia.
