Bandai Namco Games announces new titles for 2014

Bandai Namco Games has today released lots of new information regarding some of its 2014 line-up of games which includes release dates for Soul Calibur Lost Swords and Ace Combat Infinity. There’s also some new collections for One Piece Pirate Warriors and Naruto  fans amongst other things. Take a look at the list of titles (some new) with their associated trailers for more info.

Tales of Xillia 2 Ludger Kresnik Collector’s Edition and Day 1 Edition for PS3 – August 22nd

SoulCalibur Lost Swords  – April 23rd 2014 (free to play – PS3)

Players will start out with one of three characters including  Mitsurugi, Sophitia and Siegfried, and unlock additional characters through quests. Taki has been announced as a new character alongside a host of favourites from the series.

 

DeadCore  (5 bits games) – PC/Mac/Linux – Summer 2014

 

DeadCore, previously known as DeadLock, is a Platformer-FPS featuring some insane environmental puzzles. The main idea of the game is you must climb a gigantic Tower as fast as possible while avoiding to be kicked down by its security system (robots, turrets…): on your way to the top, you will eventually figure out the truth behind this strange universe. Tenkai Knights: Brave Battle – 3DS

 

In this 2D-robot combat game, young fighters can step into the role of one of the four Tenkai Knights heroes and must stop the evil Vilius and his army of shape shifting robots from destroying planet Earth and Quarton. Young heroes can Power-up their favourite character with over 100 customization parts and cooperate with an ally to complete missions from the Mission Mode! Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution – Samurai Edition and Rival Edition – PS3/Xbox 360/PC September 2014

Tales of Hearts R – PS Vita – Winter 2014.

Tales of Hearts R follows the story of Kor Meteor, a brave young man living in a small village by the sea, as he sharpens his fighting skills under the watchful eye of his grandfather. Impressed with Kor’s growing skill, his grandfather bequeaths to him a special type of weapon known as a Soma. Soma users must possess exceptionally strong Spiria, the source of all life from which the human mind and will are derived.

Armed with his Soma, Kor soon encounters a young woman named Kohaku Hearts who has been placed under a spell by a mysterious witch. As Kor attempts to lift the spell, he accidentally shatters Kohaku’s Spiria Core, the source of her emotions. Kor must set out on a journey to find a way to make Kohaku’s Spiria whole once more.

On top of the compelling and heart-felt storyline, Tales of Hearts R features a unique and dazzling battle system that builds upon the TALES OF series’ celebrated “Linear Motion Battle System” by introducing the “Aerial Chase Linear Motion Battle System.” Players will be able to

move freely in the air and experience fast-paced aerial battles that will be sure to blow enemies away.
