Assassin’s Creed Unity Update fixes some issues but not the Frame Rate

Ubisoft’s community manager posted via the official Ubi forums details of the just released Assassin’s Creed Unity Update which addresses a number of the game’s glitches. However, the update does not address the frame rate problems which plague all versions of the game. A quick fix which may or may not result in some improvement with the fluctuating frame rate has been suggested which requires users to disconnect their console or PC from the Internet. We’ve tried this but couldn’t really see if there’s any notable improvement, but that’s not to say it won’t yield results for others – so it worth a try at least. The good news is, Ubisoft are well aware of these problems and are working on a fix as we speak, so hopefully this will be forthcoming sooner rather than later.

PS4 Update:

  • Fixed an issue where under some circumstances, Arno can fall through ground when free running on various props or when dropping down on to an NPC.
  • Fixed an issue where it is possible for Arno to get stuck in a hay cart next to the Pantheon in the Bièvre district.
  • Fixed an issue that may cause a game crash when joining the co-op session of another player who has a specific single player and side missions progression.

Note that even with this patch, players may still experience
